Peacefully, at home, on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Beloved husband of June Cohen. Devoted father and father-in-law of Pam Mire and Lyle Neiman, Barry Mire and Bonnie Greenberg, and Corey Mire. Cherished Zaida of Jessie and Charlie Neiman; Brianna and Evan Mire. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sam Mire and Sheila Ramsey; and brother-in-law of Jacqueline Cohen and Sheldon Davis. Eli will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Special thanks to Marie-Claude Seguin at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital for her incredible support and to Samantha and George Mulling for bringing a ray of sunshine into Eli’s days. A private funeral to take place. Contributions in Eli’s memory may be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, (905) 294-7645.
