Obituary
Peacefully, at Maple Grove Care Community, Brampton, on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in her 89th year. Eleanor, loving wife of the late Benno Schnabel. Beloved mother of Harold and his wife Pamela, and Karen and her husband Angelo Sangirardi. Loved grandmother of Brendan (Nasrin), Jarrett, Chardae, Michael, Daniel (Tracy), and Matthew.
Eleanor is a retired employee of the Etobicoke Board of Education (now TDSB) and a former resident of Port Elgin (Gobles Grove) and previously Etobicoke, Ontario.
Friends and Family will be received on Friday, January 22, 2021 beginning at 2:00pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. Should you wish to attend the visitation for Eleanor, please call the funeral home to book a time.
A private family funeral service will be held and live streamed at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 23, 2021 Family and friends wishing to view the funeral service may do so on facebook @BrownFamilyFH or in the service details below.
Memorial donations to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
