It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Edwin (Ed) Shaske of Smoky Lake, AB on June 12, 2021, at the age of 80 years.
Ed is survived by his wife, Judi; sons, Damian and Lance (Angela); daughter, Tiana (Terry) Lineger; granddaughters, Nakayla and Hayley; and many extended family members.
Ed was predeceased by his sister, Elsie; and brother-in-law, Daniel.
Ed was an outgoing, friendly, and steadfast man who will be greatly missed. He was loved and respected by so many people.
The Shaske family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Anton Raubenheimer and the wonderful staff at Bar-V-Nook and the George McDougall-Smoky Lake Health Care Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Edwin’s name may be made to the Smoky Lake Golf Course or the Smoky Lake Lions Club.
The family is holding a private ceremony with inurnment of ashes on Friday, June 25. A celebration of Ed’s life will take place at a later date.
