James Andrew “Drew” Simpson of Waterloo, left us too soon from a battle with cancer at 76 years of age, on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at home holding hands with his wife, Nancy and two daughters, Candace and Marnie.
Drew was born in Prince Edward Island, grew up in Winnipeg and raised his family in Waterloo. He will be affectionately missed by his wife, Nancy, daughters and sons-in-law Candace and David Barnes, Marnie and Andrew Rolt and his wonderful grandchildren Braeden, Sadie, Violet, Desmond and Gray. He will be dearly missed by his brother Terry, Sandra, Robin, Lisa, Randy, Ashley, Shauna and their families in Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his mother Marion Frances Rogers, his fathers Earl Simpson and James Ringer and his nephew Craig Simpson. He will be missed by his friends and colleagues from his 34 years at Manulife Financial.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Grand River Hospital and the in-home Palliative Care Team through the LHIN, that provided exceptional care.
