Donald Thomas Sackfield
October 21, 1931 – October 19, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Sackfield just short of his 90th birthday after a short illness.
Don will be greatly missed by his children Linda Beasley (Doug), Stephen Sackfield (Ruth) and Joanne Hoffmann (Frank), brother Bruce Sackfield (Jackie) and sister Heather Sackfield. Don was grandfather to Tracey Leveque (Marc), Scott Beasley (Jen) Devon Hawkins (John), April Sackfield, James Sackfield (Jessica), Ali Barfitt (Calvin), Alex Hoffmann, Kyle Hoffmann. Don was husband to the late June Sackfield and to the late Anne Barber;
We would also like to thank all the nurses at Southlake Regional Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
Visitation and Funeral will be held at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario (905-884-1062). Visitation will be October 24 from 6-8 p.m. and Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 25. Due to covid restrictions, space is limited for both the visitation and the service.
