Zatrepalek, Dennis Andrew
March 5, 1941 – August 6, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Zatrepalek, beloved husband, father, and papa, who died suddenly in hospital in Saskatoon from a stroke. Dennis was born on March 5, 1941 in Broderick, SK. He lived on a farm near Glenside, SK before coming to Saskatoon. While working in Saskatoon, he met and married the love of his life, Annette (Roth) on June 14, 1980. Dennis was a very loving and caring husband, father and papa. Dennis was always there for his two children. His hobbies were bowling, models and stamp collecting. He helped out with the Parkridge Community Association and worked many bingos to support his children and grandchildren. Dennis received the 50th Donor Award from Canadian Blood Services. Dennis worked for SMI from November 6, 1974 until his retirement on March 31, 2004. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Emily (Puymon); his sister and brother-in-law, Georgina and Milton Munchinsky, and his brother-in-law, Bruce Bolton. He is survived by his loving wife Annette; son Brent (Tennille); daughter Kara (Paul) Janzen and five grandchildren, Logan, Austin, Kortney, Julie and Kensie; brother-in-law, John Roth; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Allan and Marian Roth, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Janine McLeod; sister Ida (Bruce) Bolton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Dennis’ Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 300 – 8th Avenue South, Martensville, SK with Father Peter Ebidero as the celebrant.
