Delvin John Weightman 1942-2021
Del passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on Monday morning, October 18th after a lengthy struggle with his health. He will be remembered by his sisters Vivian Becker (Larry) of Kitchener, Lorette Wighton (Steve) of Squamish, B.C., Helen Weightman of Kitchener, Barbara Watson (Larry) of Lindsay, his brothers, Gary (Wanda) of Bethany, Hugh (Betty) of Calgary, Randy (Lori) of Winnipeg and sisters-in-law Donalee and Linda of Lindsay, his nieces, nephews and many friends who he has made over his lifetime. Del was predeceased by his parents George (1990) and Katherine (2000), brothers Don and Murray both in 2016, and nephews David Weightman (1964) and Byrne Becker (1967). A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, October 23rd at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lindsay. If desired, a memorial donation to a local charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
