After a period of failing health, Debra Ann Johnson passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on June 13, 2021. Born on February 5, 1954, in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Hilda Patricia (Hayes) Johnson.
Debra held several positions at Bell Canada during her 36 year career. She retired in 2013. She played ice hockey in her youth and was an avid hockey fan.
Debra is survived by her son Samuel Johnson of Hamilton, ON; her brother Robert Johnson (Saint John, NB); her sisters Brenda Guimond (Saint John, NB) and Maureen Dobbie (Port Dover, ON); and many nieces and nephews.
As well as her parents, Debra was predeceased by her daughter Ashley Patricia.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, ON. Due to the ongoing pandemic, there will be no visitation. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
