STEVENS, Deanna
We are broken-hearted to announce the passing of our mom, Deanna. She is lovingly remembered by her children Debbie and Denny, Cheryl and Kevin and Darryl, grandchildren Katrina and Darren, Crystal and Justin; Chandi and Kelly, Kali and Scott, TJ and Shelby, great-grandchildren Kaitlynn, Keegan, Braelynn; Jessalynn, Braxton; Jayla, Blake; Emily and Leah. Deanna was predeceased by her parents and partner of 31 years, Donnie.
Mom was a very loving and caring person that held her love for her family close to her heart and was very proud of all of them. Mom was happiest when she was around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed doing puzzles and playing cards with her friends. She was a social butterfly and had a positive attitude that even cancer couldn’t take away from her.
We believe heaven needed a special Angel and mom fit the description perfectly. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
As we say goodbye to our beloved Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister, Aunt and Friend, our greatest wish for her is that she is wrapped in God’s embrace to be reunited with those gone before her. We will all miss and cherish her memory every single day.
Our family would like to deeply thank the palliative care team and Dr. Van Niekerk for their compassionate care over Mom’s journey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit (1702 – 20th Street West, Saskatoon, SK S7M 0Z9) or to the Cardiac Device Clinic at the U of S.
