ELIENS, Dawn Marie (nee McLaren)
Dawn passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. She was born in Fort Frances and lived there until the age of 12 years. The family moved to Thunder Bay, ON, where she completed her high school. Her first job was with Crown of Life in Thunder Bay. She moved to Winnipeg and then got transferred to Saskatoon where she met the love of her life, Henk Eliens. Dawn was predeceased by her husband Henk Eliens and her parents Stan and Joan McLaren (Martin). Dawn is survived by her sister Wendy (Al) Marshall, brother Martin (Shelley), nephews Angus “Gus” and Connor (Bailey) McLaren, and Stan Marshall (Krista), niece Twyla Oleksuk (nee Marshall), great-nieces Kaitln Marshall and Danielle Oleksuk and great-nephews Ryan Oleksuk and Jaden Marshall and there is a great-great-nephew to arrive in December. Dawn left us too soon and we will all miss her strength, her love and laughter. A tea will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 9 Murphy Crescent in Saskatoon (held by Marilyn Turple).
