David Reid Saturday June 19th 2021

It is with great sadness and much love that we announce the sudden passing of David Bruce Reid on June 19th, 2021, at the age of 62 years. Loving husband to Maureen of 36 years, and devoted father to Matthew (Jocelyn) and Michael (Chloe). Doting grandpa to Avery and a granddaughter on the way. Dave also leaves behind his parents Mavis and James Reid, brother Glenn (Tracy) and sister Heather. Dave will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews and caring friends. Family was everything to Dave and encouraging them was his mission in life. Dave enjoyed his work as an accountant (CPA), then later as a CFO. He recently retired and enjoyed golf and curling at Brantford Golf and Country Club, travelling, skiing, and many other hobbies. Dave had a strong faith in God that guided his life, and he regularly shared his faith with others.
A Visitation will be held from 7-9pm on Friday June 25th, 2021 at West Highland Baptist Church, 1605 Garth Street, Hamilton. Those wishing to attend the Visitation must RSVP either on the funeral home website or by calling 905-388-4141. Everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Saturday June 26th, 2021 at West Highland Baptist Church. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Funeral Service will be by private invitation only.
