  1. My sincere condolences to Marg and Jamie on their loss. I worked with Dave from the time he first arrived at Excelsior Life until I left in 1988 for greener pastures. He was such a pleasant and honourable gentleman to work for and to work with. We kept in touch over the years through the Toronto Actuaries Club, the Independent Actuaries Network and of course the Christmas Aetna/Excelsior reunion luncheons held each year up until covid struck. I will miss him.

  2. The loss of a friend with whom one spends a couple of hours each week during curling season reminds me of the camaraderie that team sports have brought to my life. It is at places like High Park Curling Club that seasonal friendship come instantly back into focus upon the first draw in each league. A quiet man who listened well , I will miss seeing David around the table after the game. It was a pleasure to have him as a curling companion. My sincere condolences to his family.
