Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor on Monday, April 12, 2021, David Norman Duffett of Catalina at the age of 78.
Predeceased by his parents Dugald and Naomi and his brothers Edgar and Kenneth.
Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 41 years, Barbara (nee Cluett); his three children Curtis (Vera and daughter Nicole), Craig (Charlene), Colleen (Jamie); granddaughters Alicia and Sarah and their mother Jeannine; sister Virtue (Clayte) Follett; brothers Andy (Shirley), Craig (Beverly); and sisters in law Iva and Betty. The Cluett family Betty (Walter), Larry (Debbie), Marilyn, and Clarence. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.
A very special thanks to all the wonderful staff at Golden Heights Manor.
Dave will be remembered for his quick wit, charming smile, and love for a good time. Raise a glass with us to celebrate his life. RIP Dave.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Strathie’s Funeral Home, Catalina, on Thursday, April 15, from 2–5 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. A service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021,
at St. Peter’s Anglican Church at 2 p.m. Due to Covid restrictions this will be a private service by invitation.
