October 4th, 1947 – December 14th, 2021
Dan passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Tuesday December 14th, 2021.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Janet McCarty.
Loving father to Jennifer Sterling (Dean) and Ken McCarty.
Loving stepfather to Deborah Iaccino (Lou).
Cherished grandpa to Alexandra and Michael Iaccino.
Dan is predeceased by his parents, Jim and May McCarthy and his in-laws, James and Anne McNaughton.
Dan will be greatly missed by his loving and supportive brother and sister, Jim McCarty (Linda) and Vicky Hodgson (Larry – deceased) along with his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lynda Guest (Howie) and Jim McNaughton – deceased (Sue).
Dan will be missed by many cousins.
Dan was “The Best Uncle” to many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews, both in the Sarnia and the Toronto area.
Dan retired after more than 25 years from CNR.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
