DANIEL HERBERT FREEMAN
July 9, 1952 – November 20, 2021
In the comfort of his own home surrounded by the love of his family, Daniel Herbert Freeman of Tillsonburg passed away on Saturday November 20, 2021 at the age of 69 years. Awesome, loving husband of 21 years but together since 1993 to his wife Margie. Kind, caring and loving father to Jennifer Conlon and her husband Steve; Jason Freeman and his wife Charlene. Proud grandfather to Carter and Leah, Conlon, Kaitlyn (Daniel) Fudge, Emily (Taylor) Declercq, Brooke and Jordan. Great grandfather to Madison and William. Brother to Raymond (Barb), Judy (Russell) Ellery, Karen Godby, Holly Kropf, Bill (Heather), Fred (Pat). Uncle to several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents Fred (1989) and Leotta (1990) and sister Jolene Herman (2017). Dan was a Toronto Maple Leafs and Beatles fan and avid golfer. Giving of his time, he was an active volunteer at the Tillsonburg Legion of which memorial donations in Dan’s memory can be made to by making your donation cheque payable to Royal Canadian Branch 153, Tillsonburg or the Canadian Cancer Society. The Freeman family has organized a Celebration of Dan’s Life to be held at the Tillsonburg Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 153, 16 Durham St., Tillsonburg on Saturday December 4, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A Legion Service for Dan will start at 1:30 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 1:45 p.m. There will be government-imposed capacity restrictions in place.
