It is with heavy hearts we mourn the passing of Dale Raymond Dongworth on December 16, 2021 at the age of 76.
Dale was predeceased by his loving parents Thomas and Johanna Dongworth and his daughter Jaqueline Dongworth.
Dale will be greatly missed by his son Daniel Dongworth; granddaughters Madison and Samantha; his sisters Doreen (Roy) Wagman, Elaine (Reg) Wagman, Doris Amrud, and Janice Dongworth; his close friends Kenton (Charlie) Metzler and Ken Amrud. He will also be missed by all his nieces and nephews and many other people who knew and loved Dale.
Dale was born and raised in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan. He lived most of his adult life in Regina, Saskatchewan. Dale was a truck driver and loved the open road until a heart condition ended his trucking career. He would listen to his beloved Elvis Presley and many Country and Western singers on his trips across the country.
Dale was an avid Tim Hortons patron. He and his friend Charlie would go for coffee anytime of the day or night.
Private family gathering will be held at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dale’s name to the Canadian Lung Association or The Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
