It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Corey James Jerome Bishop, on June 5, 2021 at the age of 43. Corey is predeceased by his mother, Sandra Howell (Janes), Grandparents: Arch and Phyllis Janes and Cecil and Adelaide Bishop, Uncles: Bob Bishop (Norma), Jim Bishop, Billy Janes, Gary Janes and his Aunt Wanda Bishop. He is survived by: his partner, Diana Nicole (Niki) Murphy, daughter Amber Bishop, father Bill Bishop (Brenda), brothers Billy (Michelle Ivy) and their family, and Michael and his family, in-laws Brian and Germaine Williams, brother in-laws: Brad Murphy (Angela), Dennis Murphy (Tina) and their family, Curtis Williams and Greg Williams. Also surviving Corey is his extended Bishop, Janes and Murphy Families, the Hearn and Janes family in Alberta, as well as his many friends in Paradise, CBS and Alberta, including his special friends Corey Quilty and Eddy Murphy. Corey was a dedicated father and partner and will be missed by all who knew him. His love of motorcycles, race cars, fishing and camping were obvious to all who knew him. He was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A funeral service will be held at the Carnell’s Chapel on Freshwater Road, on Friday June 11, 2021 at 1:00PM with internment to take place afterwards at the Holy Innocents Anglican Cemetery in Paradise. Donations in Corey’s memory can be made to the charity of one’s choice. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on the memorial page and share them with the family.
