Obituary
It is with profound sadness that our family announces the death of Colleen. Beloved partner, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She passed away peacefully at home with her dog Bailey at her side, on Sunday Sept 5th, 2021, at the age of 58. Colleen was a loving partner to the late Douglas Cross. Cherished daughter of Denise, and the late Edward Casey. Devoted and much-loved sister of Kathleen (Joe Gallagher), Jennifer (Chris D’Aoust), Jane (Adrian Cobbold) and Charlie (Tricia Newton). Proud and loving aunt of Casey and Ben Gallagher, Sarah, Thomas and Danielle D’Aoust, Claire, Edward, and Charlie Cobbold, Olivia and Darcy Casey. Colleen will also be missed by her numerous cousins and many close friends.
Colleen worked as a Personal Support Worker providing exceptional care to numerous patients including her beloved partner Doug Cross.
Colleen was a woman of many talents with a beautiful heart. In addition to working, she loved cooking, home improvements and gardening. She was also an avid traveler, and she explored many parts of the globe. Her travel escapades included the Arctic, Antarctica, Iceland, New Zealand, Australia, Europe and of course driving across Canada.
A celebration of life will be held in the coming weeks, and we will personally reach out to her close friends.
