Colen Mackenzie “MacK” Hatt
1930-2021
The passing of Colen
Mackenzie Hatt, husband of Patricia (Denton) Hatt occurred peacefully
at the Grand Manan Nursing Home, Grand Manan NB on November 28, 2021.
Born on Grand Manan on July 21, 1930, he was the son of the late Roy
and Georgia (Ingersoll) Hatt. A loving husband, father, grandfather,
great-grandfather and brother, in addition to his wife Pat, Colen is
survived by his daughter: Vicki Hatt; grandchildren: Chelsey Brown,
Regan Kinghorne, Logan Kinghorne and Miranda Kinghorne;
great-grandchildren: Forrest Kinghorne, Atlas Kinghorne, Sadie Green,
Rory Green and Ruby Green; several cousins and friends. Besides his
parents, Colen was predeceased by one sister: Muriel Franklin.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral
Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. In keeping with
Colen’s wishes there will be no visiting. A graveside service will be
held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm from the
North Head Anglican Cemetery, North Head NB with Pastor Ruth
Fair-Parker officiating. In Colen’s memory, donations to a charity of
the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
