Cocagne – Jean Joseph Doiron, 73, of Cocagne, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 29th, 2021, at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Born in Acadieville, NB, he was the son of Marie (Barrieau) and the late Alphonse Doiron.
Besides his mother, Marie; he will be sadly missed by his wife of 48 years, Andrea Caissie; his
sons: Jeffrey (Laura) and Randy (Heidi); his sisters: Maria, Sylvie, Gisele, Yolande and Mona;
his brothers: Remi, Romeo and Bernie; his grandson, Garrett; his beloved grand dog, Lola, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, Alphonse, he was predeceased by his sister, Gloria and his brothers, infant Onesime and Arthur.
Jean lived for his wife and sons and loved spending time with his extended family. He also
enjoyed driving his 79’ Corvette, going to car shows, playing cards on Saturday nights, and also
enjoyed spending time at Pointe-du-Chêne in Shediac. Jean loved talking to people, was always
one to joke, made a huge impact on anyone he met, and will be missed greatly by so many.
Due to the Covid-19 regulations, proof of double vaccination and masks will be mandatory.
Visitation will be held from Passage – Shediac Bridge, on Friday, December 3rd, 2021, from 2 pm until time of service in the chapel at 4 pm.
In Jean’s memory, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
