It is with heavy hearts that the families of Christopher Woodrow Hancock announce his sudden passing at the Health Science Complex, in St. John’s, NL, on Friday, October 1st, 2021, at the age of 64 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Donna nee Legge, his children; Christopher (Kayana Quigley), Gordon (Crystal) Hancock, Peter Lucas (Alyssa Nichols), and Michelle (Phillip), his grandchildren; Logan Hancock, Haley Hancock, Abigail Hancock, Madision Wight, Matthew Wight, Addison Rouzes, Meadow Grace Quigley, and Owen Lucas, his brothers; Monte (Authorine), Allan (Vera), Dennis (Delbert), and Reginald (May), his sisters; Verna (Baxter), Grace (Tony), Diane (Gary), and Phoebe (Bob), Christine Bragg Pittman the mother of his children, his brothers and sisters-in-law; Ken Legge, Gordon (Slomey) Legge, Rose (Bill) Perry, Lillian Dinney, Linda (Cort) Oake, Ruby Wheeler, and Bertha Legge, Christopher was predeceased by his parents; Pansy and Gordon Hancock, his sisters; Carol Lavers, and Katie Day, his sister-in-law; Eileen Legge, his brothers-in-law; Bud Dinney, Norm Wheeler, John Legge, and June (Ruth) Legge.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place at Parsons Funeral Home Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Thursday, October 7th, 2021, at 2:00pm, with Pastor Jeffery White officiating. Please keep in mind the Covid – 19 Government Regulations during the visitations. This service will be live stream to view the service please go to our face book page @ Parsons Funeral Home (Deer Lake) to view the service.
Then keeping with Christopher’s wishes cremation will take place.
