Christopher George Brown
Passed away on December 16th, 2021 at the age of 65.
Our hearts are broken that we have to say good-bye to a wonderful husband, son in law, brother, uncle, nephew, family member and friend.
He was pre deceased by his father in law Cyril Squires.
Chris was born in Bonavista where he lived most of his life, and met his wife Jessie and shared 43 years together; 34 of those wonderful years spent married and 9 of which they dated. They cherished their life as one, from getting together with family, and friends, and having their trips together. He loved to meet new people at work or outside of work. He thought a lot of his co workers, especially his crew out on the wharf. Chris was a man who never thought his self better than anyone else, and he really didn’t like fake people. What you got from him was true from his heart. He didn’t like to see anybody hurt or picked on. If you became his friend, you were his friend for life. He was a lover of Christmas, especially the lights. We will miss him dearly.
It was a very short visit at Clarenville Hospital, but I would like to thank each and every one of you who tried to help in any way. The kindness that was shown to me by all will never be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place, and visitation will take place at Strathie’s Funeral Home on December 28th, 2021 and December 29th, 2021 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Followed by a church service on December 30th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Anglican Church.
