THOMSON, Charles “Chuck” Edward:
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Chuck Thomson announce his sudden passing on Thursday September 23, 2021, at his cottage paradise on Sturgeon Lake. Chuck was in his 85th year and was born and raised in Niagara Falls, ON. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Thomson (nee Comba) for 57 years. Loving father of Chucky JR (Janet), Kerri (David), and Karly. Cherished Papa of Kyle (Mandie), Kassandra and Kelly. He will be deeply missed by his brothers Wayne (Bonnie), Tom (Diane), sister-in-laws Wendy and Cheryl and nieces and nephews. Chuck was the son of the late former Fire Chief Stanley and his wife Harriette Thomson. Chuck followed in his father’s footsteps becoming a devoted Fire Fighterfor the City of Niagara Falls and moved up to the ranks to Platoon Chief retiring after 33 years of service. A private family service will be held at a later date. If desired memorial donations would be appreciated in lieu of flowers to Project Share or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 479.
