PERSAD, Chaitram– Passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Sukhya Persad (nee Deonarine) for 58 years. Loving father of Rabindranath “Rob” Persad and his wife Carol of Michigan and Sharmila Boodoo of Brampton. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Catherine and Nicole Persad and Natasha and Sirena Boodo. Survived by his brothers, Hansraj, Janrarind, Bisham, and sisters, Prakashwatee, Sushila, Sindy, Sudeshna, Prabha, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. He is predeceased by his parents Dwarka and Rampeyarie Persad and sisters, Lilawatee and Pamela.
Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 3 – 4 pm where a funeral service will follow at 4 pm.
