It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, niece and cousin Catherine Wilson-Prosser (44) of Moncton, New Brunswick. Catherine passed away on July 13th after a lengthy battle with cancer with her husband, Nathan, by her side at The Moncton Hospital. She was born in Saint John on September 16th, 1976, a daughter of Valerie and the late Wayne Wilson.
Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Nathan, and their three children, Alisha Prosser (Alex) and grandson Hayden (of whom she will never be forgotten as “Nana”), and soon to be granddaughter Adalynn Catherine, all of Quispamsis, Isaac Prosser of Moncton, and Lily Prosser of Moncton. She also leaves behind her mother Valerie (Sandy), sister Melissa (Frank) and brothers Aaron (Henry) and David (Michelle), mother-in-law, Betty and sister-in-law Natasha Kennedy (Brad) along with nieces and nephews Noah, Nicholas, Summer and Samuel (Melissa), Logan, Matthew and Levi (David), Olivia, Leah, and Blake (Natasha); plus, many uncles, aunts and cousins and her beloved dog that never left her side, Dakota. Besides being predeceased by her Dad, Wayne, Catherine was also predeceased by her father-in-law, Rev. Phil Prosser.
Catherine was a very talented singer and was the Worship Leader at Victory Assembly for many years. Catherine enjoyed church, reading, cooking, crafts and knitting. Her favorite times were spent with her husband and children.
Catherine was employed at Cavendish Farms, in PEI before her battle with cancer began. She also worked at Cooks Aquaculture; but her real passion was when she had her own Daycare and was entrusted with many children that she loved as her own.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 6:00 to 9:00PM from Kings Way Assembly, 7 Kingsway Drive, Quispamsis. Lily and Catherine had a bedtime tradition: Catherine would tell her that she “loved her to the moon and back”. Lily would reply “I love you to heaven and back”. Catherine would respond with “I can’t beat that”. So, we all say to you, Hon, Mom, Mommy, Nana and Catherine, “We love you to heaven and back and we will see you in heaven”.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Catherine
