Passed away peacefully at the Joseph Brant Hospital on Monday, August 30, 2021. Carmen Grace (Gladu) Hampel, at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Wallace Hampel for over 42 years and cherished mother of Carol Ann (Jamie) and Scott (Nicole). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Krystle (Kolton), Phillip (Diana), Joshua, Luke and a future great grandchild on the way. Dear sister of Hugette, Norma, Doris, Clement (deceased) and Robert (deceased). Also survived by many nieces nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Fabienne and Ferdinand Gladu.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 9:30 am – 10:45 am. Covid protocols will be in effect and registration of attendance required by RSVP below or by calling 613-342-2828.
A private family Funeral Liturgy in honour of Carmen’s life will be held in the chapel followed by interment in St. Francis Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Joseph Brant Hospital, Palliative Care Ward would be gratefully acknowledged.
