C. Erskine MacMillan
1933-2021
The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit, Community
Hospital, O’Leary on Sunday, September 12, 2021 of C.
Erskine MacMillan of Union, aged 88. Erskine was born in Brockton,
June 4, 1933 son of the late Charles and Bertha (MacArthur)
MacMillan.
Cherished Dad to Wayne, Bonnie (Jim) Matthews and Betty Lue.
Step-father to Donna (Andre) Smith, Lynn Pridham, Gary (Leatha) Wilkie
and Pam (Gordie) Rodgerson. Loving grampy to Dr. Alison MacMillan
(Jason Arsenault), Krystal (Jason) Hackett, Jeremy (Alena) Matthews,
Kandace Matthews (Zack), Darcie, Riley, Cameron and Kai MacMillan and
great grandchildren Kolby,Klaire, Sophey and Ameliya. Step grampy to
Julie (Brian) Drury, Michael (Nicole) Smith, Troy (Lori) Pridham, Lori
(Pat) Coyle, Chad Wilkie (Sarah Gray), Ryan Wilkie (Ashley Deveaux),
Lindsay (Aaron) Dawson, Jamie (Megan) Rodgerson, Jeffrey Rodgerson
(Ainsley MacDougall) and his step great grandchildren.
Dear brother to Leigh (Tina) MacMillan, Isabel Sutherland,
Elizabeth MacMillan and Leslie (Chris) MacMillan. Brother in law to
Jean Johnston and Stella Campbell. Erskine will be missed by his
numerous nieces and nephews.
Erskine was predeceased by his first wife Marion (Campbell)
MacMillan (2011), second wife Goldie (Williams -Wilkie) MacMillan
(2018), and grandson Greg.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary. Due to current restrictions, private visiting hours
for invited guests on Wednesday and private funeral at Elmsdale Church
of the Nazarene on Thursday for invited guests only. Interment to
follow in the Church Cemetery.
