It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bunny after a long struggle with COPD.
Predeceased by her husband Doug, Bunny is survived by sons Scott (Anne) and Allan, her daughter Dee (Lloyd) and grandchildren Christopher and Sarah. She also leaves behind her sister Joan, brother John and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arriving in Powell River in the early 60’s, Mom met and married the love of her life, Doug in 1963. First living at Mowat Bay followed by moving to Joyce Ave in 1970.
For many years, Mom was an active member of the Women of the Moose. She helped cater most of the weddings held at the Moose Hall. She also volunteered countless hours to Powell River Youth Soccer.
The family would like to thank all that helped and supported Mom through her illness. Our family appreciates your kindness more than you will know.
