Brian William Gorman, age 67, passed away suddenly on November 26th, 2021 in the QEII Hospital, Halifax. Born December 13th, 1953 in Halifax, he was the son of the late Benjamin (Jean) Gorman and Doris (Delbert) Doucette.
Brian enjoyed his family and especially loved the time he got to spend with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved children, son, Brian (Tia) Gorman; daughter, Carole (Tommy) Gorman; his cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Devlin and Alicia; and greatgrandchildren, Jayson, Adalynn and Elias. He is also survived by his sisters; Cheryl (Gary) Warren and Barbara (Terry) Crouse and brothers; John (Bernadette) Gorman and Daryl (Louise) Gorman. As well as close lifelong friends and cousins, Davy and Lynn Kidd. He was predeceased by his sister, Cecilia Doucette.
Brian had a passion for bowling, playing darts, playing crib and he enjoyed the “occasional” Keith’s beer. His loyal, caring and dedicated character led to him excelling in all he set out to do.
You may know him from his earlier days tending bar at the LBR in the Lord Nelson hotel. He also worked for a time at Armdale Taxi as a dispatcher and from there went on to become a cleaner at the Superstore in Spryfield for many years. He retired after tending bar at Mickey’s in the Spryfield Bowlarama after almost a decade.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
There will be no official service as per Brian’s request. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Brian
