Obituary of Brad Ramsay Betts
Brad Ramsay Betts of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the age of 55 years.
Brad was born in Calgary, Alberta on June 17, 1966.
Brad accomplished much through his life he was
particularly proud of Boy Scouts – received many badges. He assisted with setting up The Calgary Film Festival at Banff. He also loved acting and drama. Brad liked reading and loved entertaining family and friends.
He attended SAIT working towards becoming a Chef but however was unable to complete. He played the organ and had numerous records.
Some restaurants where he worked include: The Royal Duke as Dining Room Manager, Masters, and Glory of
India.
Brad really loved people and doing volunteer work.
He is survived by his mother Rene Betts of Strathmore,Alberta; Siblings Ross Betts of Calgary, AB, Debbie, (Mike) Finch of Strathmore, AB as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he cherished for many years from school days until present.
Brad was predeceased by his father John M. Betts.
