Brad Doupe, 70, of RR2, Mitchell passed away at his residence, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
Beloved husband of Joanne Hutchinson. Dear father of Erin Doupe and Randy Rogers, Jacob Doupe and Jill Wareing and Meaghan Doupe. Loving grandfather of Isaac and Reegan Rogers, Jesse, Lexi, Ella and Jamie Doupe. Dear brother of Stan and Leona Doupe, Wendy and Glen Ruston and Jeff Doupe. Dear brother-in-law of Bill and Helen, Al and Elaine, Scott and Deb, Janice and Ken. Brad will be missed by his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Melvin and Eunice Doupe, father-in-law and mother-in-law Elgin and Phyllis Hutchinson, sister-in-law Barb and brother-in-law Bob.
Brad loved his family. It was always a good day when he could enjoy a cup of coffee, a good joke and a camp fire with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed farming, driving school bus and being the caretaker at Woodland Cemetery for many years.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. Those wishing to attend the visitation must register online at LockhartFuneralHome.com or by phone at 519-348-8643. All coming must have a scheduled time, wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols. Brad’s funeral service may be viewed at LockhartFuneralHome.com on Tuesday.     So sorry to hear of the passing of Brad. He was certainly a well liked, strong man who put up a valiant fight. I am also sorry that I cannot make visitation but want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.
