Bill’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late William “Bill” Harrison Pike announce his passing at Central Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls, NL on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the age of 67 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife of 44 years Vickie Pike of Stephenville; daughter Cayla (Chris Day) Pike of Stephenville; and his two precious grandchildren: Cameron & Charlotte. Also leaving to mourn: his brothers: Jim (Carol), Ted, Gus, John (Dorothy), and Gerald (Betty); sisters: Violet, Pearl, Doris and Bertha (Merv). Bill was predeceased by: his parents Theodore & Annie; and brothers: Wayne, Harold, and George.
Bill was born & raised in Stephenville, where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Town of Stephenville for 45 years. He enjoyed wood working, photography, and spending time with family & friends. His family will forever cherish the happy memories, especially him and his little helper Cameron building a ramp for his loving wife Vickie.
Visitation will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville on Friday, August 13th, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the United Church, Stephenville on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bill to a charity of one’s choice.
