Betty Jean Moody Saturday June 5th 2021

Moody, Betty:
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Betty Jean Moody (nee Hudson) at the age of 87 on June 5, 2021 at University Gates LTC, Waterloo, Ontario.
Beloved wife of the late Ron Moody.
Loving mother of Cindy Moody (Nik Miliotis) Scott Moody (Wendy) and Melissa Muhly (Conrad) and her cherished grandchildren Cate Moody, Jack, Finn and Sophie Muhly.
Preceded in death by parents Bill and Edna Hudson, brothers Bill Hudson and Harold Hudson, sister Marian Williams (Stan), life long friend Reta Ellacott and her beloved JR.
Betty is survived by her brothers Larry Hudson and Robert (Lillian) Hudson of Tillsonburg and dear friend Christa.
Betty retired after many years as a receptionist at Sears Canada, Epton Industries, The Record and Sills Madorin.
Betty had a movie star smile, quick wit and wry sense of humour. She loved a good sale, a good chat and the Toronto Blue Jays. Her fondest memories were of cottage days in Bayfield Ontario and sunning in the Florida Keys.
Special thanks for the kindness and care shown to Betty and our family by the staff at University Gates.
A private service with the immediate family will take place and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Betty’s memory to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society (cards available at the funeral home).
