Obituary of Bernadette Organ
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernadette “Bernie” Organ announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at the age of 89. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Mary (Vincent King), Milltown, NL, Lloyd (Lucy), St. Alban’s, NL, Mabel Dicks, Victoria, BC, Calvin, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Philomena (Max Clarke), Hearts Desire, NL, Ada (Les O’Brien), Kingston, ON, Marguerite (Sid Strowbridge), Harbour Breton, NL, Albert (Margaret), Green Bank, ON, Rolonda (Greg Dechant), Cold Stream, BC, Jennifer (Les Lahey), Vermilion, AB, Levison, British Columbia, Lisa Armstrong (Edu), Ottawa, ON; 38 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; son in law: Ken Hutton, Toronto, ON; brother: Paul Collier (Matilda), St. Alban’s, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: John Organ; daughter: Monica Hutton; granddaughter: Dulcie McDonald; son in law: Ed Dicks; sisters: Lucy Long, Maggie Cox, Mary Davis, Susan Howse, Nora Howse; brothers: Abraham Collier, Jack Collier, Simon Collier, Jacob Collier. Funeral service on Monday June 21, 2021 at 2:30 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s with Father Patrick Osuji officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
