Bernadette MacNeil 2021

“I am as I am in the eyes of God. Nothing more, nothing less”. – St. Francis of Assisi
Bernadette (Preston) MacNeil
With sadness, we announce the death of Bernadette MacNeil, which occurred at her residence in Miramichi on December 18, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Margaret (Bransfield) Preston.
Bernadette is survived by two brothers, Floyd (Theresa) Preston and Gerald (Sue) Preston and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband James MacNeil, two brothers, Lorne and Sanford Preston and four sisters, Eunice McGloin, Beryl McPhail, Marie Lemay and Kathleen Sullivan, predeceased her.
Bernadette was an avid bingo player and a lover of animals. She had a kind heart and generous spirit that often went unnoticed. She was a private person, who loved her family and friends, in particular, her many bingo friends.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral. A public graveside service will be held from St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 9:30 AM with Father John Keoughan officiating..
In Bernadette’s memory, donations to the local SPCA or the Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bells Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB. Telephone: 506-622-3600.
“When you believe beyond what your eyes can see, signs from heaven show up to remind you love never dies”.
Rest in peace Bernadette.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Bernadette MacNeil 2021..
