It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Anthony “Tony” Prezioso, he died suddenly from cardiac arrest on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 88 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Marie; children and their spouses: Anne and Rob Farrow, Gordon and Tanis Prezioso, Theresa and Paul Carter; grandchildren: Julie Farrow, Rob and Marcia Farrow, Brianna Prezioso, Dylan, Sloan and Caden Carter; and his great grandchild, Karina Farrow. Predeceased by his parents Giacomo and Maria, his sister, Mary and brothers, Frank, Carmen and Sam Prezioso.
In 1932, Anthony was born in Toronto to Italian immigrant parents and was the youngest of five children. He was proud of his parents heritage and very proud to be Canadian. He was artistic and loved repairing electronic devices and machinery. He spent most of his life working as a mechanic. He really appreciated food, pastries, wine and loved to attend weddings and parties.
Anthony always put family first and was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He truly loved his family more than anything and he showed it time and time again throughout his life. At times, he could be very stubborn and set in his ways but we always knew he cared and he would be there if we needed him. He would drive many kilometers if necessary to watch his family play sports or pick them up without hesitation.
May you rest in peace, we love you and you will never be forgotten.
