Obituary of Ann F. McEachern, New Victoria
It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Ann F. McEachern, 67, of New Victoria on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, NS.
Born in New Waterford, Ann was a daughter of the late William ‘Billy’ and Claire (Murphy) Donohue.
Ann enjoyed gardening and walking her dogs, Buddy and Misty, to the lighthouse in New Victoria. She loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her husband of over 40 years, Jerry McEachern; daughter, Tanya McEachern (Jamie MacKinnon), Albert Bridge; son, Jerry McEachern Jr. (Candace Henry), Scotchtown; sister, Gail (Henry) Digero, New Victoria; grandchildren, Jessica, Autumn, Cari; great-grandchild, Quinn.
Besides her parents, Ann was predeceased by a brother, Randy.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and guidance of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Victoria, with Father Peter McLeod officiating.
