1938-2021
Rexton, NB – Annette Lirette 82, of Richibucto
(formerly of Burton, NB) passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions
Nursing Home on Friday, June 18, 2021. Born in Richibucto,
she was the daughter of the late Judge Eric T Richard and late Corinne
(Boudreau) Richard. Before retiring, Annette was a school
teacher for many years. During her lifetime, she volunteered
much of her time at the Oromocto Hospital and for the Rexton Lions
Club.
Annette will be sadly missed by her two sons, Greg Lirette
(Shelley) of Grande Prairie, Michael Lirette (Kathy Russell) of
Burton; two grandchildren, Marcus and Jordan.
She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Velma
Richard.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Harley “Hank” Lirette and one brother,
Eric.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on
Friday from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Interment will be held
at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery in Oromocto on Friday,
June 25, 2021 at 3:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Annette’s memory
may be made to the NB Alzheimer Society and would be appreciated by
the family.
Arrangements are under the professional care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home (506-523-4252) and the Oromocto
Funeral Home (506-357-5100).
