Mom had a lifelong passion for education both in her career as teacher, as well as a student herself. After obtaining her teachers license, she went on to complete her Bachelor of Arts and then her Masters in Education, all while raising her family and continuing to work as a teacher. She was very dedicated to her faith and community, serving as a village councillor and on St Patrick’s Parish Council; as well as on many other boards and committees. Mom also had a love for travel that took her to many places across the world. Mom never shied away from an opportunity or a challenge and loved to live life to the fullest; this included living and teaching in different parts of the world. However, Mom was never happier than when she was spending time with her beloved family and friends who will all miss her very much.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 2:30 pm with Father Anthony Papu officiating. Burial will follow in St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
