Death notice
Allan Chisholm passed away peacefully at Huronia Hospice on August 22, 2021 in Penetanguishene, Ontario. Beloved husband of Karen. Proud father of Lloyd, Allanna (Darryl), Evelyn (Allan), and Maryann (Jay). Very close brother of Ron (Linda) and uncle to their sons Rick (Trisha) and Don (Maribeth). Loving grandfather of Travis, Jake, Stevie and James. Allan will be missed by a large network of extended family and friends.
Allan had a close connection to Georgian Bay his whole life and greatly enjoyed teaching woodshop at Midland Secondary School starting in 1975 through to 1994. Seeing students move on to careers in trades was a great joy for Allan.
Friends and family will fondly remember his love of dinner parties where they enjoyed his often repeated, entertaining, detailed stories. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff and volunteers at Huronia Hospice for their extraordinary care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service by request. Donations to Huronia Hospice in Allan’s memory are greatly appreciated
