Alice Allain
1931-2021
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Alice Allain 90, of Richibucto
passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria in Saint-Louis-de-Kent on
Tuesday, June 15 2021. Born in Claire-Fontaine, she was the
daughter of the late Fidèle Vautour and late Lucie
(Vautour) Vautour. Alice loved nature and spending time
outside, especially blueberry picking. She also enjoyed
playing radio bingo.
Alice will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Angeline
Bartlett (George) of Moncton, Rose Allain (Paul Barrieau) of St.
Ignace; two sons, Roger Allain (Tammy) of Kitchener, ON, Leopold
Allain of Richibucto; six grandchildren, Ghislain, Melanie, Alexandre,
Savannah, Mikyla, Brandon and one great grandson,
Nikolas.
She is also survived by one brother-in-law, Henri Allain of
Bouctouche and many nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was
predeceased by her parents; her husband, Clarence Allain (2016); five
sisters, Lucie, Suzanne, Melida, Laura, Regina and three brothers,
Leonide, Patrick and Alfred.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Wednesday from 7-9 pm, Thursday at 9:00 am until
departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated
on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 am at the St. Louis de Gonzague
Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50 people at a time
will be allowed in the funeral home. Masks are mandatory and we ask
that social distancing be respected.
