Alan Brownlee, 93, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at Stratford Rotary Hospice on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
Beloved husband of the late Hilda Brownlee (1999). Dear father of Douglas Brownlee and Kevin Brownlee. Dear uncle of Gloria Cockwill (Nelson). Great uncle of Sharon Foley (Brent) and Dianne McKay. Great great uncle of Peyton and Olivia Foley and Charlotte McKay.
Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Florence Brownlee, brother Alfred Brownlee and sister Jean Davis (Alvin).
Alan was born and raised on the family farm in Fullarton Township where he farmed all of his life until retiring to Mitchell in recent years. He was a faithful member of Main St. United Church.
Private family arrangements entrusted to the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Mitchell. Memorial donations to Ritz Villa Redevelopment Fund, Stratford Rotary Hospice Foundation or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
