Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès d’Alain Roy à l’âge de 59 ans, le lundi 7 juin 2021. Comme passe-temps, Alain aimait faire de la pêche, du camping, et surtout passer du temps avec sa famille et son petit-fils. Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte ses enfants : Ricky (Virginia Walichnowsky) de Kapuskasing et Julie (Ronald Carrière) de Kapuskasing; son petit-fils, Jesse; ses frères et sœurs : Micheline Guertin (Claude) de Chapleau, Serge Roy d’Ottawa, Lise Roy (Daniel Benson), Denis Roy et Yvan Roy tous de Kapuskasing; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Roger et Rosanne; et un frère, Michel Roy.
Un service privé à la fosse aura lieu au Cimetière de Kapuskasing. La famille sera très reconnaissante des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer comme témoignage de sympathie.
We regret to announce the death of Alain Roy, at the age of 59 years, on June 7, 2021. In his spare time, Alain enjoyed fishing, camping, and especially spending time with his family and his grandson. He will be greatly missed by his children: Ricky (Virginia Walichnowsky) of Kapuskasing and Julie (Ronald Carrière) of Kapuskasing; his grandson, Jesse; his brothers and sisters: Micheline Guertin (Claude) of Chapleau, Serge Roy of Ottawa, Lise Roy (Daniel Benson), Denis Roy, and Yvan Roy all of Kapuskasing; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Rosanne; and one brother, Michel.
A private graveside service will be held at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy. ©
