Obituary of Agatha Giesbrecht
Passed away September 19, 2021, at Heidehof Home For The Aged, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late John Giesbrecht (1998) . Loving mother of Eric Giesbrecht (Teresa), Henry Giesbrecht (Sharon) and John Giesbrecht. She will be greatly missed by her 4 grandchildren Melanie (Robert), Kyle (Brittany), Christopher (Savannah ), Lauren and her 3 great-grandchildren Kaylee, Benjamin and Grace. Sadly missed by her siblings, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Before Agatha’s health started to wane, she was very involved in the St. Catharines United Mennonite church. She loved singing in the choir and quilting blankets. She was also an avid gardener and there wasn’t much she wouldn’t pickle or can. The family enjoyed her baked goods, jam and famous coleslaw. Agatha always cherished time spent with family and friends.
The family will be having an intimate celebration of life and will be receiving family and her close personal friends on September 24, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Victoria Lawn Cemetery by her husband’s and her final resting place.
