1949-2021
Ada Carpenter of Limestone, ME, passed away unexpectedly at the Cary
Medical Center in Caribou, ME on the morning of July 24, 2021.
Ada was born in California Settlement, NB, on October 5, 1949. She was
the daughter of the late Howard and Helen (Pelkey) O’Neal. Ada leaves
behind her loving husband, Richard Carpenter on Limestone, ME; her
children, Kathy Barnes of Fort Fairfield, ME, Kim Albert (Shane) of
Crombie Settlement, NB; her stepchildren, Linda Salch (Ray) of
Limestone, NB, Richard Carpenter Jr. of Connecticut; her sister, Edna
Scott of Perth-Andover, NB; her brothers, George O’Neal (Glenetta) and
Aden O’Neal (Cheryl), both of California Settlement, NB; along with
several nieces and nephews.
Ada was predeceased by her parents; her step-daughter, Susan Michaud;
her sisters, Glenna Ledwith and Myrtle Swazey; her brother, Bernard
O’Neal.
Because of the current travel restriction at the Canada-U.S. border, a
memorial service celebrating Ada’s life will be held at a later date.
This obituary will be re-posted once the details have been
finalized.
Interment will be in the Sunset Cemetery in California Settlement,
NB.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
