Passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Wolfgang Zahn, at the age of 89 years. Husband of the late Clara Zahn (nee Bak) and cherished father of Chris Ellis-Eritou (Chris Eritou), Steven Zahn (Stacy), and Richard Zahn (Marion). Dearest Papa of Erik, Kate, Ethan, Christian, Hayden, Justin, Kyra, and Mackenzie. He was predeceased by his parents Otto and Käthe Zahn (nee Schrecke). Beloved brother of the late Horst, the late Renata, and Ingrid of Germany. Wolfgang loved the outdoors, sailing the Bandit as well as boats of any kind, and tending to his many vegetable and flower gardens. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and thanks to Dr. Mansworth and the amazing staff at the St. Lawrence Lodge for all the care and love. Dad/Papa: we will miss your smile.
A service in honour of Wolfgang’s life will be held on Friday, November 6th at 3pm at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 374 Stewart Blvd; Brockville.
COVID protocols will be in effect and attendance is limited. To register, please call 613-342-2828 or RSVP below.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Memorial Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.
