HICKIE, Winnie
1926 – 2020
Winnie passed away on September 24, 2020 at the Saskatoon Convalescent Home. Winnie is survived by her son Malcolm, daughter-in-law Joan and grandson Brett. She is also survived by her Aunt Wynne, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Winnie was predeceased by her parents Henry and Elizabeth and brother Oscar. Winnie was born and raised in Neudorf. Winnie married Oswald “Ossie” and they lived in Killaly, Esterhazy and Saskatoon. In 2019 they celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. We would like to thank all of the staff at the Saskatoon Convalescent Home for the care Winnie received over the past 4 years. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Private Family Celebration of Life will be live-streamed. Please refer to this obituary for Celebration live-stream date, time, and live-stream link. Following Ossie’s passing in 2019, a new Bingo machine was donated by family and friends for the residents of the Saskatoon Convalescent Home in honour of Ossie and Winnie.
