Obituary of William Hegi
Born April 22 1928 in The Hague, The Netherlands. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years. Henny Hegi (nee Jansen) his Daughter Renee (Troy) and son Ian (Sarah) his Grandchildren Jack, Malakai and Shiloh. He proudly served in the Dutch army in Indonesia. He Immigrated to Canada in 1952. He spent many of those early years being instrumental in the development of the Christian Reformed Church in Brampton and Georgetown. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his puttering around the garden, his love of classical music, and his witty sense of humour.
Friends will be received at the Georgetown Christian Reformed Church, 11611 Trafalgar Road, on Saturday March 7th from 2-4 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the church on Monday March 9th at 11:00 am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
