WHYNOT – Mildred Matilda, 94, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Born in Blockhouse, NS, Mildred was a daughter of the late Melvin and Hilda (Weagle) Nowe.
Mildred was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She loved music, shopping, dancing, camping at the cabin and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all her family.
She is survived by her daughters Diane (Fred) Hurshman, Sharon (Darren) Huskins and Gloria Roy, all of Liverpool; her sons Paul, Lovett, , Sid and Edward (Pam) all of Liverpool and Forrester (Muriel) of Brooklyn as well as a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Her sisters Frances Whynot of Liverpool, Alice Murphy of Charlottetown and her brothers Vincent (Ellen) of Milton; Milford of Liverpool; Carl of Danesville and Charlie (Stella) Whynot of Annapolis Valley.
Besides her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her husband Keith, and infant sister Prinsetta, her sister Hazel Mason and her brothers Frank, Harry and Leo.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion United Cemetery, Payzant Street, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. No flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
