Obituary of Wendy Gail Elliott
April 11, 1956 – October 12, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Wendy Elliott on October 12,2020, with her husband Jim by her side.
Wendy was born in Cranbrook, B.C., on April 11, 1956 to Joyce and Bill Boyd. Wendy graduated from Mount Baker Secondary School, then went on to marry her beloved James Elliott. Wendy was raised and resided in Cranbrook, her entire life.
Wendy loved to make blankets and give them to her grandchildren. Wendy was also a whiz at puzzles and spent many days working on them. The past couple of years, Wendy became a top-notch bowler and would have a smile that lit up any room when she talked about what a great game she bowled.
Wendy is survived by her husband James of 43 years and their children Gary, Melanie (Jason) and Michelle, her grandchildren Kiera (Lawrence), Keinan, Kinlei, Kiarra, Emilee, Hanna and Caydyn. As well her soon- to-be great grand child Myles. Wendy took great pride and love in her family.
Wendy was predeceased by her parents Joyce and Bill Boyd.
A Celebration of Life will be held later date. Wendy’s wishes were for her family and friends to donate to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. www.cancer.ca/en/donate/.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
